In many installations where shifts are on a 24-hour basis and conditions are harsh, it is very important to have vacuum pumps capable of functioning always, even in
the presence of dirty water, impurities, overloads, little maintenance etc.
Our pumps are designed for such uses and have oversized dimensions, large passage sections and low revolution regimes, and therefore they function continuously for
many years.
The special attention given to the mechanical work and the accurate choice of materials, capable of answering all the customers requests ( special combined steel,
stainless steel, components covered in composite ceramic ), guarantee the long life of the pumps and routine maintenance only.
The AZMEC vacuum pumps can be optimally adapted to the different process conditions and this thanks to the vast range selected to guarantee, for the same service,
the choice between larger machines which operate at a lower rpm, with consequent energy savings.
With the exception of the AL and ALEX series, the AZMEC vacuum pumps have an intermediate sector which divides the pump into two sections, each of which is
capable of guaranteeing 50% of the total capacity and totally differentiated degrees of vacuum without limits; this allows, especially in paper mills, to serve two points
of the paper machine with two different vacuum degrees, with only one pump; the difference in vacuum between one sector and the other can reach 800 mbar.
Following noticeable improvements made to the hydrodynamic blade profile and to the internal seals system, we have reached a hydraulic efficiency which has considerably
reduced energy consumption.
Our pumps have internal distribution, that is the passage between the fixed and the rotating part happens inside the impeller and on its whole length. As a consequence
the passage sections are very wide and our pumps are capable of transporting, together with the air, large percentages of liquid, fibres, charge substances
etc…
For the aforementioned characteristics AZMEC vacuum pumps are particularly designed for all those uses which require a large quantity of humid air with medium
vacuum values and with great functioning safety and duration.

The AZMEC vacuum pumps AL, ALB, ALZ, ALC can be used as air or other gas compressors up to an effective pressure of ca. 1.6 Kg/cmq.
