The AZMEC plant in Genova Voltri (with a covered area of 1700 m2) has been operative since 1960, year in which the company was established.
Up until 1990, the plant in Genova has been dedicated to the production of liquid ring vacuum pumps and third party component manufacturing.
Since 1991, year in which the Verderio Inferiore (Lc) plant was established, the Genova site has been dedicated nearly completely to third party manufacturing and to various maintenance work in the mechanical sector. There is obviously a perfect synergy between the two productive units which allows AZMEC to deal with the highest work loads.
Thanks to the presence of high technology tools (CNC boring machines, CNC vertical and parallel lathes), the following important groups can be counted among AZMEC’s clients: Gruppo Riva, GEA, KME Europa Metalli, Eurocontrol, REDEX, Gruppo CVI Service (which use AZMEC structures to serve their most important clients namely ENEL, Brembo, Ansaldo).

In order to provide our customers with the best resources and the most advanced production and control systems of incoming and outgoing materials, we are currently certifying the Genova site according to the ISO 9000 legislation. This is a further step forward in order to increase the company’s reliability, already consolidated throughout the years, towards the most qualified customers.
